Kai Crooks-Chissano

Kai Crooks-Chissano is the creator and Executive Director of Camp I Am. She is a strategic communications and content development specialist with over 20 years experience working in the international development sector as an Advisor for the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), a UNDP Officer, and consultant to several other UN agencies (UNICEF, UNESCO, UNFPA), multilateral, bilateral, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. Kai holds a BA degree in Journalism from Hunter College, and an MA degree in Health Education and Behavioural Sciences from Columbia University in New York City, USA. Kai researches and writes the content for each camp.
